The process begins!

Hello everyone!  If you're reading this you've probably come from my Indiegogo.com fundraising page where I'm trying to raise money to hire a patent attorney to help me get my micropayment system patented.

I'll be using this blog to post updates on the patent process, fundraising efforts, explain more thoroughly what I'm tyrying to accomplish and why I'm even doing this in the first place, send shout outs and thank yous to donors, and overall, a place to document the process of trying to get a patent.  Hopefully, it will be interesting, entertaining, and even educational for all of us.  I'll even post some cartoons along the way to break the monotony of the boring stuff!

I hope you'll join me on this journey, track my progress, and have some fun along the way.  Feel free to ask questions, and if I can answer I will.  Because of the nature of trying to get a patent of this kind, and the fact that there are people out there that will steal ideas, I'll have to be deliberately vague about details of my micropayment system until I've reached the stage of the patent process in which my attorney says it's safe to reveal details.  I hope you understand.
